Food and Beverage Assistant (Seasonal)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all kitchen equipment is clean and readily available for chefs.
  • Delivering food from the kitchen to guests at the table or to a self-service area
  • Clearing away dishes and cutlery. Disposing of leftover food and drinks, assisting with catering duties.
  • Setting up tables before meal services, clearing and cleaning dining areas and service stations.
  • Unload deliveries and assist in storing ingredients properly.
  • Keeping fridges fully stocked.
  • Operate dishwashers and glass-washing machines to maintain cleanliness.
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic servery environment, including floors, fridges, crockery cupboard, and work surfaces.
  • Wash and store utensils and dishes correctly.
  • Polishing the silverware.
  • Dispose of kitchen waste and maintain cleanliness of the food service areas in a large property
  • Adhere to UKME's policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
  • Any tasks or responsibilities as requested by management within the scope of the position.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Stamina and enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced environment (Essential)
  • Ability to work efficiently and follow health, safety, and hygiene standards (Essential)
  • Flexibility to work on rotating schedules (Essential)
