Food & Beverage Bartender - On-Call (Horseshoe Hammond)
Perform duties to set up and ensure readiness of the room. Maintains cleanliness of the room and availability of supplies.
- Set-up room and ensure adequate supply of liquor stock.
- Stock bar, mix and prepare drink orders.
- Operate the cash register to tally orders and comps.
- Respond to guest’s request and questions.
- Smile and greet guest with eye contact.
- Follow safety rules and keep work area clean and orderly.
- Assist in inventories.
- Keep bar clean (including floor).
- Must be able to work various shifts and hours to include holidays and weekends.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Proficient in English verbal and written
- Equivalent to a high school education with knowledge of food and beverage procedure
- 2-3 years food service experience is preferred.
- Must be able to server alcohol in the state of Indiana.
- Must obtain/maintain an Indiana Liquor License as required.
- Flexible to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Must qualify for, obtain, and maintain a gaming license from the Indiana Gaming Commission, if applicable.
- Access to the vessel is required.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, stoop, twist, crouch, and reach repetitively
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Must be able to work in cold/hot environments.
- Must be able to work from a standing position and/or walking motion for extended periods.
- Ability to work in a crowded, smoking, and loud environment
