Food Expeditor

Essential Job Functions:

  • Act as the primary liaison between kitchen staff and servers to ensure accurate and timely order execution

  • Review tickets for accuracy, modifications, and special requests

  • Organize and prioritize orders during high-volume service periods

  • Ensure all dishes meet presentation, portion, and quality standards before leaving the kitchen

  • Communicate clearly with chefs, line cooks, and service staff to resolve delays or discrepancies

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expo line and service window

  • Assist with garnishing, plating, and final touches as needed

  • Monitor ticket times and support the team in meeting service benchmarks

  • Uphold all food safety, sanitation, and company policies

  • Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations

  • Maintain regular, predictable and punctual attendance

  • Team members will participate in all mandatory meetings and pre-shift BUZZ sessions

  • All Team Members will follow the Everyone Greets Everyone (EGE) policy. It is the expectation that every team member, front or back of house, should proactively seek out opportunities to greet guests and their fellow team members daily. EGE policy states teams members should: acknowledge guests and fellow team members within 10 feet; initiate friendly verbal greeting within 5 feet; keep your head up, look around (“head on a swivel”); look for opportunities to greet guests and others; please remember that when you are on the floor, you are “on stage”.

High School Diploma or GED equivalent required

Physical, Mental & Environmental Demands:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.

  • Frequent reaching, bending, and exposure to a busy kitchen environment

  • Fast-paced, mid-tier restaurant located within a casino setting

  • Exposure to heat, noise, and high-volume guest traffic

  • Team-oriented environment focused on delivering quality guest experiences

  • Knowledge of kitchen and storage areas
  • Team Member is required to meet and deliver our core values, service standards, and family style service.

  • Previous restaurant or kitchen experience preferred (expediting or line experience a plus)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail with a focus on presentation and accuracy
  • Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
