Food Production Manager
Roles and responsibilities:
· Lead and guide the production team and achieve the departmental and organizational goals.
· Oversee the production day to day operations.
· Accountable for the quality of the finished products.
· Liaise with other managers to formulate objectives and understand requirements.
· Estimate costs and prepare budgets.
· Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines
· Monitor production to resolve issues
· Supervise and evaluate the performance of production personnel (quality inspectors, workers,etc.)
· Determine the number of necessary resources (workforce planning, raw materials, etc.)
· Ensure output meets quality standards and customers’ expectations
· Enforce health and safety precautions within the production and the plant
· Other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Management.
Education and Work requirements:
· Minimum a Diploma in manufacturing process, engineering, or other relevant disciplines
· Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in Food Manufacturing
· Deep knowledge of production management
· Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations
· Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts
· Experience in reporting on key production metrics
