Food Runner- Seasonal, Dive Bar (Harrah's SoCal)

This role carries and presents food items to the cafe to always maintain proper levels of product. Maintains cleanliness and presentation of Cafe lines. Assure our guests a quality product on a consistent basis and in a timely manner.

Carries food from kitchen to cafe line and places it for service.
Responsible for the food presentation and eye appeal of all food for Cafe line.
Strong sense of product identification.
Maintains presentation and cleanliness of Cafe line throughout shift.
Must be aware of waste and cost control.
Must have a sense of urgency to solve customers promptly.
Must always maintain standards for grooming and sanitation.
Must report any safety hazards to a supervisor.
Must maintain a helpful and courteous relationship with all guests and co-workers.
Acts as a role model to other employees and always present oneself as a credit to Harrah’s and
encourage others to do the same.
Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
Other duties as assigned.

Prior food experience preferred.
Fluent and literate in Basic English.
Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
Must be able to have a sense of urgency and react to changing business demands.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to read, write, and follow directions effectively.
Basic product identification.
Must have a sense of urgency to serve customers properly.
Ability to lift and carry large objects weighing up to 50 pounds and push or pull 300 lbs on a cart or dolly.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Mobility to move around the work area easily.
Strong sense of product identification.
Must be able to stand on feet for extended periods of time.
Auditory range must include immediate environment.
Visual range must include near distances.

Pay: $17.50 per hour plus tips

Preference is given to qualified Rincon tribal members and members of other federally recognized tribes.
