Food Service, On - Call
The Harker School is searching for on-call food service positions, including cooks, kitchen aides, and dishwashers, to join our school. These are on-call positions working Monday - Friday, 6 hours daily. Catering and additional work, are available.
Position Summary
As members of the Harker staff, Food Service employees are expected to support the school’s goals, objectives, policies, and procedures and always conduct themselves professionally.
Essential functions and basic duties:
- Prep, cook, and set up / serve meals
- Maintain and replenish food in the serving area
- Place food and supply orders daily
- Maintain and prepare food for catering requests
- Maintain, clean, and sanitize the kitchen
- Prepare for the next day’s menu and meals
- Assist where needed in other areas, including Dish room, Catering, etc.
- Other duties as needed and assigned by the Kitchen Manager, or Food Service Director
