Job Summary/Responsibilities

The Food Truck Attendant is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service while operating the hotel’s food truck concept featuring handcrafted margaritas, frozen beverages, ice cream, and light snack offerings. This role combines hospitality, food and beverage service, and brand representation to create a memorable guest experience aligned with the standards of a luxury boutique hotel.

  • The ideal candidate is energetic, personable, service-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced outdoor environment while maintaining elevated presentation and professionalism.
  • Provide warm, engaging, and personalized service to hotel guests and visitors.
  • Prepare and serve margaritas, frozen cocktails, ice cream items, and other menu offerings according to hotel recipes and presentation standards.
  • Verify guest identification and ensure compliance with all alcohol service laws and company policies.
  • Accurately process cash, credit card, and mobile payment transactions through the POS system.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of the food truck, service areas, equipment, and storage areas.
  • Restock products, garnishes, paper goods, alcohol, and supplies throughout the shift.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs to management.
  • Set up and break down the food truck operation daily, including securing inventory and equipment.
  • Maintain proper food handling, temperature controls, and sanitation procedures in compliance with health department regulations.
  • Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner while promoting hotel experiences and offerings.
  • Report maintenance, safety, or operational concerns promptly to management.
  • Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, allergens, and hotel amenities.
  • Support teamwork and assist other Food & Beverage departments when needed.
