Forward Deployed Engineer

About Telepatia

At Telepatia, we’re building the new standard of medical intelligence in Latin America. Our AI-powered products work directly inside clinical workflows — transcribing consultations, generating structured medical records, assisting clinical decisions, and integrating with any health system. (telepatia.ai)

Doctors today spend up to 40–70% of their time on administrative work instead of patient care, and we’re changing that by building AI “healthcare employees” that operate in real time. (LinkedIn)

We’re backed by top investors and building from LatAm for the world.

About the Role

We’re hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to work directly with our customers and ensure our AI products deliver real-world impact.

This is a frontline engineering role — you will be embedded in customer problems, building, adapting, and deploying solutions in production.

You are not just shipping features.

You are making the product work where it actually matters.

What You’ll Do

  • Work directly with clinics, hospitals, and healthcare teams to understand workflows

  • Deploy, customize, and integrate Telepatia’s AI into real environments

  • Build customer-specific solutions (integrations, automations, workflows)

  • Translate messy real-world problems into working systems

  • Collaborate with product & engineering to turn patterns into scalable products

  • Own and drive continuous service improvement plans and quality delivery across the tech stack

What Makes This Role Different

  • You don’t wait for specs — you discover problems in the field

  • You don’t just build features — you ship solutions end-to-end

  • You don’t optimize for elegance — you optimize for what works in reality

  • You sit at the intersection of engineering, product, and customer success

What We’re Looking For

Must-have

  • 3+ years of experience in engineering, product, or consulting roles within SaaS environments

  • Ability to build fast and iterate directly in production

  • Comfort working with ambiguity and incomplete information

  • High ownership: you solve problems end-to-end

  • Fluent written and spoken Spanish and English

  • Experience translating customer requirements into actionable code for sprint pipelines

  • Excellent communication, listening, and presentation skills across diverse audiences

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with AI products (LLMs, voice, agents)

  • Technical foundation (ability to work with APIs, data, and modern web stacks — JS/TS is a plus)

  • Experience with integrations (EHRs, APIs, data pipelines)

  • Background in healthtech

  • Experience in customer-facing engineering roles
