We believe voice is the most natural human interface, and so far it's barely been used for human-computer interaction.

So we're building the layer that powers every voice application. The way the web runs on HTML, voice AI will run on Kugel: models, framework, and APIs that let anyone build production-ready voice AI in minutes.

We open-sourced our first model, hit 150K+ downloads, got into Y Combinator, and just came back from San Francisco to win our home market. We're small, we're fast, and we're already in rooms with the biggest telcos and enterprises in Germany.

The role in one line

Forget the title. You run sales and distribution next to a founder, and you learn how a company gets built by helping build it.

We're not hiring an assistant. We're hiring the person who, in 1-2 years, walks out the door to start their own company. Until then, you take execution to a level this company has never run at.

Heads up: your focus is sales and distribution, but we're a tiny team. Some days that means closing a deal, some days it means jumping on whatever is on fire. If "that's not my job" is in your vocabulary, this isn't your role.

What you'll own

→ Find the customers. Research the market, build the target list, find who needs us before they know it.

→ Build the machine. Lead gen, CRM, follow-up, reporting.

→ Own the numbers. If they're good, that's you.

→ Jump in anywhere. Sales is the focus, but in a small team you'll wear whatever hat the week demands. Whatever moves us forward, you do it.

Hard requirements

Native-level German. Almost every customer conversation happens in German.

→ On-site in Berlin Mitte. Not remote.

Plus points: former founder, competitive athlete, or university dropout. Any of the three tells us something.

We are not looking for the flawless McKinsey CV. We're looking for doers.
