FP&A Data Engineer

You will design, build, and maintain the FP&A data warehouse and pipelines that power management reporting, PnL analytics, budgeting, and KPI tracking. You will implement automated reconciliation and testing, modernize legacy models, and provide accessible data for ad-hoc analyses. You will leverage Python, SQL, and AI tools to improve workflows and ensure data integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and own the FP&A insights data warehouse
  • Build and evolve PnL attribution and KPI generation models using Python and SQL
  • Implement automated reconciliation frameworks to ensure data integrity
  • Manage cross-functional initiatives to modernize legacy FP&A models
  • Integrate data governance, version control, and testing across development workflows
  • Provide accessible data to support ad-hoc analyses for the business and CFO organization
  • Adopt and apply AI tools to improve team productivity and decision-making

Requirements

  • 6+ years of progressive data engineering experience
  • Deep expertise in Python and SQL
  • Detailed working knowledge of relational and non-relational data structures
  • Experience with ETL processes and data pipeline development
  • Experience with unit and integration testing for data workflows
  • Familiarity with asset classes (FX, futures, options) and PnL/capital modeling
  • Experience working with large, unstructured datasets
  • Intellectually curious self-starter comfortable in ambiguity and fast-paced environments
  • Highly detail oriented with strong communication skills
  • Open to hiring at VP or Director level
