Job Description:

DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a FP&A DS Financial Analyst, located in Manila, Philippines.

The FP&A role within Financial Services & Insights (FSI) supports financial planning, forecasting, and performance management activities that enable effective business decision‑making. This position partners with stakeholders to deliver accurate financial analysis, supports budgeting and forecasting cycles, and contributes to standardized and scalable FP&A processes. The role offers strong exposure to global finance operations and the opportunity to build analytical and business‑partnering capabilities within a shared services environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning activities in alignment with business and functional objectives.

  • Prepare and analyze management reports, dashboards, and variance analyses to support performance tracking and decision‑making.

  • Analyze financial results to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, escalating insights and recommendations as appropriate.

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of financial models to support planning, scenario analysis, and business cases.

  • Support month‑end and quarter‑end close activities related to forecasting and performance reporting.

  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with financial policies, internal controls, and governance standards.

  • Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to gather inputs, validate assumptions, and support planning processes.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement, standardization, and automation initiatives across FP&A tools, processes, and reporting.

Qualifications

Education

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.

  • Preferred: MBA, Master’s degree in Finance, or advanced coursework in finance or analytics.

Experience and Skills

Required:

  • Generally requires 0–2 years of relevant experience in FP&A, financial analysis, accounting, or related finance roles, aligned to the Analyst level.

  • Foundational understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting processes.

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail and data accuracy.

  • Ability to analyze financial data and clearly communicate insights.

  • Proficiency with spreadsheets and financial systems or reporting tools.

Preferred:

  • Experience in a shared services, global services, or multinational organization.

  • Exposure to financial modeling, scenario analysis, or performance analytics.

  • Familiarity with ERP systems, planning tools, or data visualization platforms.

  • Experience supporting month‑end close, audits, or management reporting.

  • Continuous improvement mindset with interest in process optimization and standardization.

  • Ability to work effectively in a deadline‑driven, collaborative environment.

Other

  • Language: Proficiency in English (written and spoken).

  • Travel: Minimal; primarily local with virtual collaboration across global teams.

  • Certifications: CPA, CMA, or other finance certifications preferred but not required.
