PRIMARY FUNCTIONS: The FP&A Manager will produce budgets and forecasts for departments. Establish department P&L budgeting and reporting. Monthly budget and forecast to actual analysis. Track operational efficiency by function, product and channel. Perform ad hoc reporting requests to support the growth of the business.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Financial Planning & Budgeting: Lead the end-to-end annual corporate budgeting process, partnering closely with department heads to build comprehensive, ground-up financial models.
- Variance Analysis & Forecasting: Drive the monthly rolling forecast cycle, delivering deep-dive budget-to-actual variance analysis and actionable, narrative-driven insights to the executive team.
- P&L Ownership: Architect, maintain, and own detailed department-level Profit & Loss reporting, providing leadership with clear visibility into cost drivers and identifying areas for strategic expense optimization.
- Channel & Production Analytics: Evaluate performance metrics across wholesale lending channels and product lines, tracking operational efficiency from initial production through funding.
- Strategic Advisory: Act as a key financial partner to operational leaders, synthesizing complex data into high-level, digestible presentations that guide business strategy and resource allocation.
- Process Architecture: Design, implement, and streamline financial reporting workflows, establishing systemic foundation and KPIs for the FP&A function as the business continues its build-out phase.
- Ad-Hoc Analysis: Execute complex ad-hoc financial modeling to evaluate operational efficiencies, new product viability, and other critical requests to support the continuous growth of the business.

EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
EXPERIENCE:
- 7+ years financial reporting experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- This position is in an office setting with computer and general office equipment. The position requires the ability to move freely around within the department and other department locations
