Lead Fresh Pork Boning Operations at Clemens Food Group

Clemens Food Group is looking for a Fresh Pork Boning Supervisor to lead daily production operations within our Fresh Pork Boning department. This role will oversee team members working on rib lines, tenderloin operations, trimming stations, boning tables, and other pork fabrication areas.

What You’ll Do
- Lead hourly production team members in Fresh Pork Boning operations, including rib lines, St. Louis-style ribs, regular ribs/spareribs, tenderloins, trim, and related small-piece items.
- Assign employees to workstations based on skill, staffing needs, production flow, safety requirements, and daily schedule priorities.
- Monitor line speed, product flow, staffing, downtime, yield, trim loss, labor efficiency, and overall production performance.
- Ensure products are produced according to customer specifications, food safety standards, quality expectations, and production schedules.
- Coach employees on safe work methods, proper knife technique, product handling, ergonomics, GMPs, and job-specific standards.
- Partner with FSQA, USDA, maintenance, sanitation, HR, scheduling, warehousing, and plant leadership to resolve production, quality, staffing, equipment, and employee issues.
- Identify and correct unsafe conditions, product defects, process bottlenecks, downtime issues, and opportunities for improved efficiency.
- Complete accurate production records, shift reports, safety documentation, quality checks, downtime information, and labor reporting.
- Support onboarding, training, cross-training, job rotation, performance feedback, attendance management, and employee accountability.

What You Bring
- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least 3 years of experience in food manufacturing, meat processing, pork fabrication, fresh pork boning, or a related production environment.
- Prior lead, trainer, or supervisory experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of pork cuts, boning, trimming, product specifications, yield, food safety, and production efficiency.
- Understanding of GMPs, HACCP, SSOPs, USDA expectations, sanitation practices, and safety requirements.
- Ability to lead employees in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Basic computer, math, communication, and reporting skills.
- Ability to work extended hours, weekends, holidays, and schedule changes based on business needs.

Location & Work Environment
This is an on-site, full-time role in a pork processing and manufacturing environment. The facility may include cold temperatures, wet or humid conditions, loud noise, moving equipment, sharp tools, knives, slippery floors, and sanitation chemicals. The role requires standing and walking for extended periods, wearing required PPE, and occasionally lifting, pushing, pulling, or carrying up to 50 pounds.
