The Services required are set out as follows:

The Personnel shall be competent to perform the following with staff

guidance:

 Manages and oversees the reception area and is responsible for

assisting students, parents, and other visitors who come in-person, as

well as answering phone inquiries and coordinating with staff

members

 Handle movements of documents e.g. mail and parcels

 Take charge of receiving all deliveries at the reception counter,

including those from suppliers, parents, and students

 Attend to contractor’s request and calling for Operations Support

Officers as needed to support school activities

 Manage the distribution of keys to appropriate personnel for access to

facilities, and also handle the operation of key presses

 Handle requests by students/parents/staff e.g.

- Early dismissal of students for valid reasons,

- Financial assistance application status liaison,

- Admission and release of students from sick

- Photocopying assistance (e.g. student NRIC registration)

- Students’ requests for e.g. school uniform items, bandages, ice-

packs

- Student assignments, surveys and returns to forward to staff

 Take part in school emergency preparedness exercises such as

lockdown drills and fire drills, as well as any relevant school events or

outings approved by the school leaders

 Handling of safety equipment e.g. handphones, walkie talkies for

exercises

 Distribution of certificates, documents and other items

 Simple checking and consolidation of documents

 Handle lost and found items within MOE policies and with staff

guidance

 Assist staff in handling simple administrative matters (temperature-

taking exercise)

 Perform simple data entry tasks if needed

 Update the student movement log including sick bay and early

dismissal

 Undertake any simple general task/duties in the school that are

assigned by the School Leaders/Administration Manager, which may

include tasks such as shredding of documents
