About the Role<\/b>
<\/p>

Noosa Blue Resort is seeking a dedicated and professional Front\nOffice Manager <\/b>to oversee and coordinate our front\-of\-house operations. The\nsuccessful candidate will lead the reception team, ensure seamless guest\nservices, and act as the primary point of contact for operational coordination\nand guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities<\/b>
<\/p>

  • Determining\n daily reception and guest service requirements and allocating specific\n duties to front desk staff, porters, and housekeeping coordinators.
    <\/li>
  • Conferring\n with the General Manager and other department heads to coordinate front\n office activities with housekeeping, maintenance, and external tour\n operators.
    <\/li>
  • Developing\n and maintaining staff rosters and attendance records to ensure optimal\n coverage during peak resort periods.
    <\/li>
  • Explaining\n and enforcing workplace health and safety regulations to all\n front\-of\-house staff and guests.
    <\/li>
  • Supervising\n the daily operations of the front desk unit, suggesting workflow\n improvements, and implementing changes to enhance guest service\n efficiency.
    <\/li>
  • Conferring\n with team members to resolve internal grievances and handling complex\n guest complaints to ensure a positive resolution.
    <\/li>
  • Performing\n senior front office and reception duties, including managing the\n reservations system and overseeing the check\-in/check\-out process.
    <\/li>
  • Monitoring\n front office financial transactions, including security deposits, late\n check\-out fees, and credit card surcharges.

    • Proven\n ability to manage, motivate, and roster a diverse hospitality team.
      <\/li>
    • Strong\n diagnostic skills to identify operational bottlenecks or resolve guest\n service issues quickly.

    • High\-level\n verbal and written communication skills for interacting with guests,\n stakeholders, and management.
      <\/li>
    • Advanced\n computer literacy with experience in Property Management Systems (PMS) and\n online booking platforms.
      <\/li>
    • High\n commitment to quality workmanship in administrative tasks and guest\n environment presentation.
      <\/li>
    • Ability\n to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast\-paced\n resort environment.
      <\/li>
    • Capacity\n to interpret and act upon technical reports, occupancy data, and guest\n feedback documentation.

      Experience<\/b>
      <\/p>

      • Minimum\n of 1 year of relevant industry experience as a Front Office Manager
        <\/li>
      • Practical\n experience in supervising hotel service workers and coordinating\n departmental activities.
        <\/li>
      • Demonstrated\n history of managing guest relations within a resort or high\-end\n hospitality setting.
        <\/li>
      • Proven\n track record using hospitality management software and front\-of\-house\n diagnostic tools.

        Qualifications<\/b>
        <\/p>

        • Relevant\n qualification in Hospitality Management or Hotel Management (AQF\n Certificate IV, Diploma, or equivalent desired).
          <\/li>
        • Current\n First Aid and CPR certification (preferred).
