About the Role

GRAPES ENRICHMENT CENTRE is seeking a passionate and energetic Abacus & Mental Arithmetic Teacher to join our growing team. No prior teaching experience is required — we provide full training and guidance!

You will inspire young learners from aged 3 to develop strong numerical confidence through engaging and effective abacus-based learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Abacus & Mental Arithmetic lessons in small group settings to build strong numerical confidence in young learners
• Use creative and interactive teaching methods to make learning math fun, enjoyable, and effective for children aged 3 and above
• Inspire students to develop speed, accuracy, and confidence in mental calculation
• Monitor and track each child’s learning progress and provide simple, constructive feedback
• Maintain a positive, encouraging classroom environment that supports active participation
• Communicate regularly with parents to update them on their child’s progress and achievements
• Work closely with the centre team to ensure smooth lesson delivery and student development goals
• Support daily centre operations and contribute to a well-organised learning environment when required

Requirements

• Diploma qualification (fresh graduates welcome)
• No experience required (training provided)
• Passionate about teaching and working with children
• Patient, responsible, and energetic personality
• Good communication skills
• Bilingual ability is required
