Full Time Hospice Executive Director (Registered Nurse)

Overview

We are seeking a Full-Time Hospice Executive Director (RN) to lead our compassionate, patient-centered hospice team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced healthcare leader who is passionate about quality patient care, team development, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day hospice operations
  • Build strong relationships with patients, families, referral sources, and staff
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and reimbursement requirements
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and staffing plans
  • Recruit, hire, coach, and develop team members
  • Monitor quality outcomes and drive performance improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with organizational leadership on strategic planning and growth
  • Ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care

Qualifications:

  • Active RN License
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Hospice, Home Health, or Skilled Nursing (SNF)
  • Minimum 3 years of leadership, management, or supervisory experience
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare operations, compliance, and team leadership
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
