We are seeking an experienced Kondor & Corona Functional Analyst to support Temenos Treasury solutions. The role requires deep functional expertise in Kondor+ and Corona applications, with a strong understanding of Treasury, Capital Markets, Risk Management, and Banking Operations. The candidate will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring business requirements are accurately analyzed, documented, configured, tested, and successfully delivered.
The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in functional analysis, business process mapping, requirements gathering, solution design, testing, and production support within Treasury and Capital Markets environments. The role involves close collaboration with Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, Risk, Finance, and Technology teams to ensure optimal utilization and continuous enhancement of the Temenos Treasury platform.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to Treasury, Capital Markets, Risk Management, and Banking Operations.
- Act as the primary functional SME for Kondor+ and Corona applications across multiple business domains.
- Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications and solution designs.
- Conduct gap analysis between business requirements and existing Kondor/Corona capabilities.
- Configure and support functional setup of Kondor and Corona modules in accordance with business needs.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure functional requirements are correctly implemented.
- Facilitate workshops, requirement elicitation sessions, and stakeholder discussions with business users.
- Define and document business processes, workflows, use cases, and process improvements.
- Support implementation of new products, enhancements, regulatory changes, and system upgrades.
- Review impact assessments for application changes, releases, and production deployments.
- Prepare Functional Specification Documents (FSDs), Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), process flows, and user guides.
- Design and execute functional test scenarios, test cases, and support SIT and UAT activities.
- Validate system behavior and ensure delivered solutions meet business expectations.
- Support production issue analysis, defect triage, root cause identification, and resolution validation.
- Work closely with Treasury Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, Risk, Finance, and Operations teams.
- Participate in release planning, change management, and deployment activities.
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations, audit requirements, and internal governance standards.
- Provide functional support and knowledge transfer to users and support teams.
- Assist in data reconciliation, reporting validation, and operational process improvements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and optimization of treasury business processes.

Required Technical and Professional Experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Banking, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Minimum 7+ years of experience as a Functional Analyst, Business Analyst, or Treasury Systems Analyst within banking or financial services.
Strong hands-on functional experience with Temenos Kondor+ and Corona applications.
In-depth understanding of Treasury and Derivaties operations.
Strong knowledge of Front Office, Middle Office, and Back Office business processes.
Experience working with treasury products including Foreign Exchange (FX), Money Markets, Fixed Income, Securities, Derivatives, and Risk Management.
Proven expertise in requirements gathering, business analysis, functional design, and stakeholder management.
Experience preparing BRDs, FSDs, use cases, process maps, and test documentation.
Strong experience supporting SIT, UAT, business validation, and defect management activities.
Knowledge of trade lifecycle management from deal capture through settlement and accounting.
Familiarity with treasury risk concepts including market risk, liquidity risk, and counterparty risk.
Good understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements applicable to European banking institutions.
Experience working on system implementations, upgrades, migrations, and transformation programs.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to effectively communicate with business users, senior stakeholders, and technical teams.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments.
Understanding of integration touchpoints between Kondor/Corona and other banking applications.
Knowledge of Sybase and database concepts for data analysis and reconciliation activities is desirable.
Familiarity with Temenos ecosystem and treasury architecture would be a significant advantage.
Experience working with multinational or European banking clients in a regulated environment is highly preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while working with geographically distributed teams.
