Functional Implementation Specialist - Epic
Guidacent is seeking a Functional Implementation Specialist to help our public sector client with a migration to Epic. The Functional Implementation Specialist supports the design, build, and optimization of Epic workflows across clinical and operational domains.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze clinical and operational requirements
- Configure Epic modules (e.g., Ambulatory, Inpatient, Orders, ClinDoc, Cadence)
- Design and optimize clinical workflows, order sets, and documentation templates
- Collaborate with clinicians and SMEs to align workflows to best practices
- Support testing (unit, integration, UAT) and go-live readiness
- Assist with workflow standardization across agencies
Required Qualifications
- Epic certification in relevant modules
- Experience supporting Epic build and workflow design
- Strong understanding of healthcare operations and clinical workflows
