FuSa Engineer for Autonomous Vehicles
Yandex is looking for a FuSa Engineer to help develop safe autonomous vehicles for public roads. Apply if you have strong expertise in ISO 26262 and experience with functional safety in the automotive industry.Developing safety concepts and architecture
You will develop and analyze architecture, safety concepts, and safety work products for an autonomous-ready vehicle platform, covering stages from HARA to TSC. Performing safety analysis
You will conduct safety analysis at the vehicle and system levels, including FTA, FMEA, DFA, HARA, and other activities required to support functional safety. Supporting verification and validation
You will develop test case specifications for system and vehicle-level integration testing, including fault-injection scenarios. You will also support test engineers in verifying and validating safety requirements and safety goals. Managing safety documentation
You will ensure the consistency, traceability, and completeness of functional safety documentation in accordance with ISO 26262. Developing ISO 26262 work products
You will participate in creating and maintaining documentation that serves as evidence of the safety of our autonomous technology. This includes HARA, safety goals, functional safety concepts (FSC), technical safety concepts (TSC), and software and hardware safety requirements. Supporting system integration and safety case development
You will support other teams in the safe integration of x-by-wire systems and contribute to the development of the corporate safety case.* Have in-depth knowledge of ISO 26262 * Have experience working on fail-safe or fail-operational projects * Have experience conducting FTA, FMEA, DFA, and HARA * Know failure mode and effects analysis methods and can apply them in practice * Have a strong understanding of automotive systems and components * Can read and write technical documentation in English * Have strong communication skills * Have a deep understanding of automotive communication interfaces, including CAN, CAN FD, SENT, LIN, FlexRay, and Ethernet * Can read electrical schematics and analyze the operation of electronic control units * Understand safety principles for L3+ autonomous systems* Understand autonomous driving system architecture * Have experience working on ADAS or autonomous driving projects * Have a background as a Systems Analyst or Systems Architect * Have experience working on SbW, BbW, or XbW projects
