We are hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) with experience with cerebral palsy in a home setting (patients are wheelchair bound)

Schedule

• Monday–Friday: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Private Duty Nurse to provide one-on-one care for a child with cerebral palsy in a home setting (patients are wheelchair bound). This role focuses on supporting the child’s medical, physical, and emotional needs while helping maintain a safe, comfortable, and positive environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care in the home
• Monitor vital signs and overall health status
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Assist with feeding, mobility, positioning, and personal care
• Support respiratory care, G-tube care, suctioning, or seizure monitoring if applicable
• Maintain accurate documentation and communication with family and healthcare providers
• Encourage comfort, engagement, and developmental support

Qualifications

• Current RN or LVN/LPN license in good standing
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Experience with cerebral palsy, feeding tubes, tracheostomy, or seizure care is a plus
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable
• Ability to work independently in a family home environment
