Drive sourcing strategy and supplier performance within a dynamic, cross-functional environment. As a GBE Buyer, you will play a key role in delivering cost optimization, managing supplier relationships, and supporting program execution in line with business objectives.
What You'll Do:
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve cost based on organizational priorities
• Execute productivity initiatives aligned with AOP targets
• Support supplier performance reviews and track action plans
• Lead and execute supplier selection processes for NPI and Value Engineering (VE)/Resourcing projects
• Identify and propose resourcing opportunities; contribute to Value Engineering (VE) ideas for GBE projects
• Execute Value Engineering (VE), resourcing, and logistics productivity actions in collaboration with Commodity teams
• Manage post-SOP engineering changes with suppliers and ensure delivery of first-year savings after sourcing award
• Collect and analyze supplier capacity data
• Act as first interface for sourcing topics related to logistics, capacity, and quality issues within GBE (per escalation process)
• Validate and negotiate charge-back amounts with suppliers
• Implement mitigation action plans and support gap closure activities
• Support trade compliance and sustainability-related data collection
• Contribute as Key Supplier Contact (KSC) in communication with suppliers to strengthen long-term partnerships and continuous improvement
What We Need:
• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in economics or a technical field
• 2–3 years of experience in negotiation, ideally within the automotive industry
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration experience
• Solid background in program management
• Proven problem-solving skills, including data interpretation, defining actions, and implementing solutions
• Strong customer focus, initiative, and ability to influence others
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
