Pay Rate: $17.20 p/h

This position is being offered as a seasonal assignment anticipated to begin on Monday, June 29, 2026, and continue through Friday, July 24, 2026. The assignment may end before July 24, 2026, or be extended based on operational and business needs. Employment beyond the seasonal assignment is not guaranteed.

Scope of Work:

The General Clerk I provides short-term administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the office during a temporary staffing need. This position performs a variety of clerical, administrative, and customer service functions while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in support of daily business operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide general administrative and clerical support.
  • Prepare, proofread, and distribute correspondence, reports, and other documents.
  • Maintain electronic and paper filing systems.
  • Assist with data entry and maintenance of company records and databases.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail and shipments.
  • Assist with scheduling, document management, and other administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Respond to routine inquiries and provide excellent customer service to employees, management, and external contacts.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • One (1) year of administrative, clerical, or office support experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Customer service oriented with a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license and a safe driving record, in accordance with company policy, to operate vehicles or equipment as required for the position.

Physical Demands / Work Environment:

  • Work is primarily performed in a professional office environment.
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday.
  • Frequently uses hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and other standard office equipment.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in person, by telephone, and electronically.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, such as office supplies, files, or equipment.
