General Labourer/Trainee Operator - Milling

Nau mai, haere mai ki a Fulton Hogan | Join us at Fulton Hogan

We’re looking for a General Labourer/Trainee Operator to join our milling crew in Christchurch. In this role, you’ll support milling operations, help keep the site safe and tidy, and back the crew to deliver good work on the road, every day. If you like hands-on outdoor work, being part of a solid team, and learning as you go, this could be your kind of role.

Mō te tūranga | About the role

As a General Labourer/Trainee Operator in our milling crew, you’ll be part of a team doing important work to help prepare and improve our roading network. This is a hands-on, outdoor role where no two days are exactly the same. You’ll support the crew with general labouring tasks, site set-up, clean-up, and day-to-day milling activities, while keeping safety front and centre.

This role requires you to work all across the South Island and sometimes the North Island, so flexibility is a big part of the job. You’ll need to be comfortable travelling for work, staying away from home when required, and working shifts to help us deliver for our customers and communities. If you like variety, being out on the road, and working with a crew that gets stuck in and backs each other, this could be a great fit.

In this role, you’ll have the chance to grow while you work. We’ll back you with hands-on learning, ongoing development and support from people who know their stuff and are happy to share it.
