Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager (Construction Operations) to oversee daily business operations, manage construction projects, lead site teams, and maintain strong relationships with clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise construction workers, supervisors, and project teams.

  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor multiple construction projects from commencement to completion.

  • Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.

  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.

  • Prepare, review, and maintain project documentation, contracts, reports, and correspondence.

  • Ensure compliance with Singapore building regulations, workplace safety requirements, and company policies.

  • Resolve operational issues and provide effective solutions to meet project requirements.

  • Conduct regular meetings with clients and internal teams to monitor project progress.

  • Develop business opportunities and maintain long-term client relationships.

  • Oversee procurement, manpower planning, and administrative matters.

Requirements

  • Minimum 20 years of relevant experience in construction operations. (Strictly Need minimum 20 years)

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.

  • Experience in handling clients, subcontractors, and regulatory requirements in Singapore.

  • Good knowledge of project planning, documentation, and contract administration.

  • Familiar with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations.

  • Proficient in project documentation.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
