General Manager

Position Summary:

The GM will be responsible for driving growth, operational excellence, and long-term value creation for FSP Holdings Pte. Ltd., private equity-backed MedTech Contract Development as well as Chinese subsidiary company. The GM will play a pivotal role in scaling the business, optimizing performance, and positioning the company as a leading strategic partner for medical device and diagnostics innovators. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of commercial savvy, operational discipline, and a deep understanding of the MedTech contract services landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Define and execute a value-creation strategy aligned with the private equity firm’s investment thesis, including growth acceleration, margin expansion, and potential exit planning.

  • Commercial Growth: Drive new business development, strengthen existing customer relationships, and expand service offerings to capture market share in the MedTech outsourcing ecosystem.

  • Operational Execution: Lead initiatives to improve operational efficiency, quality systems, throughput, and scalability across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain functions.

  • Financial Management: Own full P&L responsibility and ensure delivery of key financial metrics (revenue, EBITDA, cash flow). Partner closely with CFO to drive financial discipline and transparency.

  • M&A and Integration: Identify and evaluate bolt-on acquisition opportunities in coordination with the private equity sponsor, and lead post-merger integration where applicable.

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in MedTech, CDMO, contract manufacturing, or related life sciences sectors.

  • Prior GM-level experience in a growth-focused or private equity-backed business.

  • Strong track record of leading commercial and operational teams, scaling businesses, and delivering profitable growth.

  • Deep understanding of medical device product development cycles, quality systems, and regulatory environments.

  • Experience in high-mix, low-to-medium volume manufacturing environments is preferred.

  • Demonstrated success in managing private equity stakeholders and executing value creation plans.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MS, PhD) preferred.
