General Manager (Restaurant)

We are seeking a talented and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment, with a primary focus on lunch and dinner services. Our restaurant offers a unique fusion of Japanese cuisine with French and Italian influences, creating a distinctive dining experience that blends the best of East and West.

In addition to lunch and dinner, our operations include breakfast, set menus for shipping crew, and all-day dining. The ideal candidate should be hands-on, service-oriented, and capable of managing a fast-paced restaurant environment while maintaining high standards of hospitality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall daily operations of the restaurant, with a focus on lunch and dinner services
  • Oversee front-of-house service standards and ensure a smooth dining experience for guests
  • Lead, train, and motivate service staff to deliver professional and attentive customer service
  • Coordinate closely with the kitchen team to ensure efficient food service and consistent quality
  • Handle customer feedback, complaints, and special requests in a professional manner
  • Assist in menu planning, promotions, and service improvements to enhance the guest experience
  • Monitor reservations, table arrangements, staff scheduling, and service flow
  • Oversee inventory, supplies, and cost control related to restaurant operations
  • Ensure compliance with cleanliness, hygiene, health, and safety standards
  • Support breakfast, set menu, and all-day dining operations as required

Requirements

  • Solid experience in restaurant management or a supervisory role in food and beverage operations
  • Experience managing lunch and dinner services in a restaurant environment
  • Knowledge in Japanese, French, or Italian cuisine is required
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and guide service staff
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple areas of restaurant operations, including breakfast, set menus, and all-day dining
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure
  • Good understanding of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards
  • A hands-on attitude and commitment to maintaining high service standards
