Geophysicist

Job Responsibilities

  • Able to collect and analyze the data from GPR, Seismic Refraction surveys
  • Prepare documents and quotations for projects
  • Attend site meetings and resolve technical/operational issues independently
  • Liaise and work closely with internal and external stakeholders
  • Able to handle site works, inspection, supervise trial trenching, geophysical works, planning
  • Carry out survey and mapping works and other site activities
  • Undertake any other work duties as required by the project


Job Requirements

  • At least Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Geology, Geophysics or its equivalent discipline
  • With relevant working experience in geotechnical instrumentation, geophysics survey, soil investigation and geophysical data interpretation and collection
  • With knowledge in operating and interpreting ground penetrating radar (GPR) and drone photography & videography
  • Proficient in ArcGIS
  • Independent and able to deliver under pressure
  • Able to think strategically and follow through on the successful implementation of plans
  • Team player and strong problem-solving skills
  • Results driven and highly motivated
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and dynamic environment
