GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER

Job Description & Requirements


· To advice operational / site personnel on all engineering designs.

· To propose corrective actions for non-conformances related to engineering design.

· To assist in the investigation of complaints related to engineering design.

· To assist the Operation Manager in terms of administrative concern.

· To prepare technical submissions, including submission to authority, before work commencement.

· Prepare all report required for geotechnical matters

· Monitor and preparing soil investigation bore log

· To attend technical meetings

· To check and ensure that the latest construction drawings are being issued to the site


Qualification

  • B.S. in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering

Experience

  • 2 years relevant experience preferred

Skills

  • Engineering competence/knowledge

Training

  • In house and/or on the job training
