We are seeking a GIS Developer with electric utility experience<\/b> to support upgrades, integrations, and data workflows across enterprise GIS environments. This role focuses on ArcGIS development, data modeling, system integrations, and utility\u2011specific workflows<\/b> for electric distribution and transmission operations.<\/span>

Core Responsibilities<\/b>

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain ArcGIS Enterprise<\/b>, ArcGIS Server services, and related GIS applications.<\/span>
    <\/p><\/li>\n

  • Build and support ArcGIS Pro<\/b> tools, geoprocessing models, Python scripts, and automation workflows.<\/span>
    <\/p><\/li>\n

  • Configure and maintain Utility Network<\/b> or legacy geometric network models for electric distribution.<\/span>
    <\/p><\/li>\n

  • Perform GIS data modeling, data quality improvements, schema updates<\/b>, and spatial data conversions.<\/span>
    <\/p><\/li>\n

  • Develop integrations between GIS and enterprise systems (e.g., ADMS, OMS, WMS, Asset Management, SCADA<\/b>, or customer/billing platforms).<\/span>
    <\/p><\/li>\n

  • Build and maintain REST/SOAP services<\/b>, web services, and API\u2011based integrations.<\/span>
    <\/p><\/li>\n

  • Support upgrades of GIS components including ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcFM, AutoUpdaters, SOE/SOI components<\/b>, and related tools.<\/span>
    <\/p><\/li>\n

  • Develop and maintain FME<\/b> workflows for data transformation, validation, and system\u2011to\u2011system exchange.<\/span>
    <\/p><\/li>\n

  • Troubleshoot performance issues across application, database, and network layers.<\/span>
    <\/p><\/li>\n

  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and IT teams to support electric utility workflows such as switching, outage management, load analysis<\/b>, and field data collection<\/span>
    <\/p><\/li>\n <\/ul>\n

    • 5+ years<\/b> of GIS development experience (electric utilities strongly preferred).<\/span>
      <\/p><\/li>\n

    • Hands\u2011on experience with:<\/span>

      • ArcGIS Pro<\/b><\/span>
        <\/p><\/li>\n

      • ArcGIS Enterprise / ArcGIS Server<\/b><\/span>
        <\/p><\/li>\n

      • Python<\/b> (ArcPy, automation, geoprocessing)<\/span>
        <\/p><\/li>\n

      • SQL<\/b> (SQL Server, Oracle, or Postgres)<\/span>
        <\/p><\/li>\n

      • FME Form / FME Flow<\/b><\/span>
        <\/p><\/li>\n <\/ul><\/li>\n

      • Experience supporting electric distribution or transmission<\/b> GIS environments.<\/span>
        <\/p><\/li>\n

      • Experience with web services<\/b> (REST, SOAP), API integrations, and system\u2011to\u2011system data exchange.<\/span>
        <\/p><\/li>\n

      • Strong understanding of utility data models<\/b>, network connectivity, and asset\u2011centric GIS workflows.<\/span>
        <\/p><\/li>\n

      • Ability to work independently, communicate clearly, and support cross\u2011functional technical teams.<\/span>

        • Utility Network<\/b> configuration or migration experience.<\/span>

        • Experience integrating GIS with:<\/span>
          <\/p>\n

          • Experience with cloud environments<\/b> (Azure, AWS) or hybrid architectures.<\/span>

          • Familiarity with NERC/CIP<\/b>, security models, or utility compliance frameworks.<\/span>

          • Experience with ServiceNow<\/b>, Salesforce integrations, or enterprise middleware.<\/span>
