GL Accounting Manager

You will oversee day-to-day general ledger accounting and lead month-end close activities for multiple legal entities. You will manage journal entries, complex reconciliations, intercompany transactions, accruals, and corporate cash bookings. You will mentor and assist a team handling full-cycle accounts payable, liaise with cross-functional and external partners to develop practical solutions, and apply advanced Google Sheets and Excel skills to work with large data sets. You will resolve accounting issues, document and standardize processes, assist with audits and ad hoc projects, conduct expense analysis, and serve as a point of contact for FP&A.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve variances from flux analysis
• Conduct expense analysis and support FP&A
• Standardize and document accounting processes
• Assist with internal and external audits
• Document and communicate accounting procedures

Requirements

• 6+ years of public accounting and/or industry general ledger accounting experience
• Proven track record designing processes to operationalize and scale accounting
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to drive cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
• Optional: proficiency with NetSuite
• Optional: experience with system implementations
• Optional: familiarity with blockchain and crypto innovations
