Global Equity Sales

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing and onboarding of new clients.
  • Build and maintain relationships with the clients.
  • Understand investment needs, objectives, and risk profile of clients.
  • Provide clients with market insights, trade ideas, and investment strategies related to the products offered by the company.
  • Enable the client to make informed financial decisions by providing clear, relevant and timely information.
  • Collaborate with research analysts to understand market trends and company-specific news.
  • Monitor portfolio performance and recommend adjustments to clients as necessary.
  • Strict observance of risk and compliance / cross-border / AML issues and regulations.
  • Regular and timely submission of progress reports, incl. existing business and prospect pipeline.
  • Constant and timely filing of call reports, following meetings with clients.
  • Collaboration with other market participants to identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow the client base and enhance service offerings.

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of experience in related fields.
  • CMFAS qualifications with a valid MAS Representative License.
  • Proven sales track record and dealing with mass affluent individuals.
  • Good understanding of equities and various asset classes.
  • Self-motivated individual, with a commitment to excellence.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to deal with clients.
  • Ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels in the organisation.
  • Ability to focus and prioritise the key initiatives across a broad range of opportunities and relationships.
