Global Head of Counterparty Risk
Role Profile
As Global Head of Counterparty Risk, you will lead the overall strategy, commercial performance and operational delivery of Infospectrum.
This is a highly specialised leadership role requiring deep expertise in maritime counterparty risk. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality, consistency and credibility of all analytical output, whilst maintaining trusted relationships with a global client base.
You will also play a key role in shaping the future of the business through product development, technology direction and the integration of AI into investigative and analytical workflows.
The role combines commercial accountability, domain expertise and leadership of a globally distributed team, ensuring Infospectrum continues to deliver high-quality, defensible insight in complex and low-transparency markets. This is a full-time permanent role reporting to the Chief Research Office (who is based in London) and is a balanced working model between home and in our modern and centrally located Singapore office with an excellent and a wide variety of services and transport links situated nearby.
What we are looking for:
Essential
- Extensive experience in maritime counterparty risk, due diligence or risk
- intelligence
- Deep understanding of global shipping, commodities and energy markets
- Proven ability to lead P&L, business strategy and operational delivery
- Strong track record of managing senior client relationships and acting as a
- trusted advisor
- Experience overseeing complex investigations and risk assessments in low-
- transparency environments
- Ability to lead and develop globally distributed teams
- Excellent analytical judgement and decision-making capability
- Strong communication and influencing skills at senior level
Desirable
- Experience leading product, data or technology-driven transformation
- Exposure to AI, data-driven workflows or research automation
- Established industry reputation or external profile within maritime or
- counterparty risk
- Experience engaging with regulators, industry bodies or media
