Your future team
In this position, you'll become part of the Global Mobility Team working and coordinating several international projects and mobility assignments, located in a welcoming and modern office environment, where you'll work alongside a diverse group of cross-functional specialists from various countries and departments.

You will report to the Head of Global Mobility, based in Denmark, and become part of a highly ambitious, supportive and international team that values structure, compliance, collaboration and continuous improvement.

Global Mobility at ROCKWOOL
Our Global Mobility function manages the full lifecycle of international workforce movements across ROCKWOOL's global operations. We ensure compliance covering Europe, the UK, the US, and Canada. We work cross-functionally with Local and Global HR-functions, Group Legal, Group Tax, and Group Finance, and we manage key external vendor relationships across immigration and tax advisory services.

Global Mobility covers three core areas:

  • PE Projects (Permanent Establishments Projects)
  • Mobility (International Assignments, Short-Term, Long-Term, and Local Plus),
  • PWD (EU’s Posted Workers Directive)

Your role within PE Projects
We manage Permanent Establishment (PE) risk for ROCKWOOL's cross-border business activities in identifying, assessing, and mitigating employee tax exposure arising from employees working across jurisdictions. This includes close collaboration with Legal, Tax, and Finance to ensure compliant structures for international projects.

Your day-to-day contributions will play a crucial role in maintaining a smooth, well-organized and well-documented way of working across PE Projects.

What you will be doing

As a Global PE Project Specialist, within the Global HR Function, you will, among other things, support the overall ROCKWOOL Group with admin related tasks in relation to the biggest CAPEX projects across the globe, more specifically, projects categorized as PE Projects.

Furthermore, you will collaborate with several external vendors regarding, social security, immigration, work permits, shadow payroll input, tax returns, tax reconciliations, project compliance from a host country perspective and ensure an internal process are kept, updated and improved.

The role consist of tasks such as:

  • Coordinate day-to-day PE Project activities related to international employees supporting large CAPEX and construction projects under the PE framework.
  • Advise the business on accurate and complete documentation, including PE addendums, A1 applications, project letters, certificates and tracking logs.
  • Support tax, social security and compliance processes in close collaboration with the Global Mobility Tax Specialist, our PWD Specialist, and external providers.
  • Coordinate immigration and work permit processes, ensuring timely follow-up, proper submission and correct storage of required documentation.
  • Act as a structured point of contact for PE-related documentation and process questions from internal stakeholders and external vendors.


What you bring:

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Minimum 5 years of international cross-border experience in project compliance (taxation, social security, payroll, immigration or similar)
  • Professional proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • A service-minded approach
  • Solid presentation skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude
  • Ability to handle many different tasks and many global stakeholders at the same time
