General Description:
Reporting to the Global Planning Manager, the incumbent will manage regional purchase forecasts, coordinate supply planning with internal and external stakeholders, support NPI activities, and help resolve supply issues to ensure global demand and supply alignment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage replenishment planning and regional purchase forecasts to ensure continuity of supply.
- Coordinate with regional teams to identify supply gaps, update plans, and maintain target service levels and inventory positions.
- Perform daily Oracle activities for purchase order management, including PO creation, schedule changes, and related administrative tasks.
- Manage supplier performance against key supply chain KPIs, including on-time delivery, booking accuracy, and lead time accuracy.
- Lead the monthly risk-buy and forecast cycle for long lead-time components in partnership with cross-functional teams.
- Drive process improvements by reviewing daily operations, identifying issues, and enhancing end-to-end workflows.
- Support new product introduction and phase-out planning for end-of-life SKUs.
- Provide support to the Global Planning Manager and perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of two (2) years of planning experience in a global manufacturing environment; international exposure is an advantage.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP or a similar system is required.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across functions and cultures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Fluency in written and spoken English is required; additional languages are an advantage.
