Global Sourcing and Supply Manager
- Collaborate with Worldwide Team to plan capacity, prepare supply chain for new product ramps, lead timely actions to resolve supply issues and ensure supply continuity
- Manage and ensure suppliers to maintain industry leading quality, delivery and cost
- Establish and maintain professional and deep, productive business partnership with suppliers
- Develop ground-level visibility for competitive intelligence
- Identify and drive operational levers to expedite and maximize supply with internal and external partners — lot prioritization, equipment dedication, mask scheduling, and WIP flow optimization
- Influence and shape the fabs' operational decisions by understanding their constraints and positioning Apple's requirements within those realities
- Collect and form cost structure insights, capacity signals, and competitive dynamics to strengthen Apple's negotiation leverage
- Provide on-the-ground context for critical internal decisions — where flexibility exists, what's realistic, and what trade-offs apply
- Deliver early warning on node transitions, equipment investments, and geopolitical developments affecting supply continuity
- Track wafer delivery against product milestones and resolve delays locally before they escalate
- Partner with foundry process teams on yield improvements and excursion resolution to ensure Apple lots receive priority engineering attention
- Coordinate with in-region test, packaging, and assembly partners for seamless wafer-to-product handoffs
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Industrial Engineering, or related field
15+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, fab operations, or foundry management
Deep understanding of fab operations: wafer flow, equipment sets, lot scheduling, cycle time management, and yield fundamentals
Experience working on-site at or closely with tier-1 foundries
Proven ability to build productive relationships with Asian manufacturing partners across cultural and organizational boundaries
Willingness to be based in-region (Asia) with flexibility to travel to Cupertino periodically
English and Mandarin fluency.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in a technical discipline
Direct fab operations experience
Background in process integration or manufacturing engineering
Familiarity with advanced nodes and advanced packaging
Experience navigating capacity allocation strategy during industry-wide supply constraints
Proven ability to rapidly acquire new knowledge and apply strong critical thinking skills for problem solving
Demonstrated ability to drive successful delivery of strategic business initiatives
Exceptional ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into clear, actionable insights that drive results
Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to work cross functionally in a dynamic environment - individually and as a member of a team
Skilled at effectively managing competing priorities, leveraging adaptability and resourcefulness to deliver on time
