  • Negotiate piece price, tooling, payment terms, and master agreements — ensuring contracts are in place before business is initiated and that commercial terms hold up at scale.
  • Own the commercial relationship with key suppliers — tracking performance, managing escalations, and building the trust needed to move fast when it matters.
  • Develop and execute commodity strategies across low and high voltage harnesses, OTS and custom connectors, terminal systems
  • Drive supplier readiness across NPI, production ramp, and sustained manufacturing while thinking about cost, capacity planning, and lead time management
  • Present clear recommendations to engineering and executive stakeholders.

What You'll Bring

  • Background in sourcing high voltage and/or low voltage wire harnesses, cable assemblies, and interconnect commodities
  • Core understanding of cable cost drivers, assembly labor economics, connector qualification, and supplier dynamics across high-volume harness manufacturing.
