Mirror Lake, managed by Bobby Jones Links, is a Rocky Roquemore and Jeff Burton creation that’s been delighting members and guests since it opened in 1999. Set on the shore of beautiful Mirror Lake, our 36 holes of great golf feature some of the area’s most spectacular views. Golfers enjoy the challenge of the four distinct nines and five tee options. Before or after your round, take in the gorgeous panoramas while dining in the grill or on the outdoor patio with both tableside and walk-up service. The spacious clubhouse also offers a fully stocked pro shop and locker rooms.
Mirror Lake is hiring for a Golf Course Assistant Superintendent. Primary responsibilities include:
- Assist in managing all agronomic practices for 36 holes, including mowing, fertility programs, irrigation, plant protectant applications, and cultural practices.
- Supervise and train maintenance staff; lead daily scheduling and task execution.
- Monitor turf health, soil moisture, and environmental conditions to make data-driven recommendations.
- Support calibration, mixing, and application of fertilizers and plant protection products in accordance with regulations and best management practices.
- Assist with irrigation system management, troubleshooting, and water-use strategy.
- Ensure equipment is operated safely and efficiently; coordinate with the equipment manager as needed.
- Maintain detailed records including chemical applications, weather data, and maintenance logs.
- Participate in course setup and presentation to meet club expectations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and long-term agronomic planning.
- Step into leadership roles in the Superintendent’s absence.
