We are seeking a highly skilled GCP Provisioning Engineer<\/b> to join a large\-scale technology transformation programme within a leading global financial services organisation.

This role will focus on the design, provisioning, automation, and optimisation of cloud infrastructure within a modern engineering environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in building scalable cloud platforms, driving infrastructure automation, and enhancing developer productivity through the adoption of modern DevOps and AI\-assisted engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities<\/b>

\u2022\tDesign, provision, and maintain cloud infrastructure within Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments.
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022\tBuild and manage Kubernetes and container\-based platforms to support scalable and resilient applications.
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022\tDevelop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform.
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022\tCreate automation solutions using Python to streamline infrastructure provisioning and operational processes.
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022\tImplement and enhance automated deployment pipelines for cloud infrastructure and platform services.
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022\tWork closely with engineering, architecture, and platform teams to ensure cloud environments are secure, scalable, and aligned to best practices.

\u2022\tIdentify opportunities to improve platform efficiency, reliability, and developer experience.

\u2022\tDrive DevOps optimisation initiatives, leveraging modern tooling and AI\-assisted development capabilities.

\u2022\tSupport continuous improvement of cloud provisioning, deployment, and operational processes.

Essential Skills & Experience<\/b>

\u2022\tStrong hands\-on experience provisioning and managing Google Cloud Platform (GCP)<\/b> infrastructure.
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022\tProven experience with Kubernetes <\/b>and containerisation technologies in enterprise environments.
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022\tExperience using Terraform <\/b>for Infrastructure as Code and automated cloud provisioning.
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022\tStrong Python <\/b>development and scripting skills for infrastructure automation.
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022\tExperience designing and implementing automated infrastructure deployment<\/b> solutions and CI/CD practices.
