ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a highly skilled and trend-savvy Senior Textile Designer to join our Cotton On Body team. In this role, you will bring your creative vision, commercial understanding, and technical expertise to deliver textile designs that resonate with our customer and reflect our brand direction. You’ll be responsible for driving the design development process from concept through to final artwork, ensuring alignment with seasonal briefs and brand DNA.

Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will interpret trend insights and translate them into original, commercially relevant designs. You’ll play an important role in contributing to the overall creative direction, sharing ideas and supporting the broader design team to achieve great outcomes.

Your ability to stay ahead of trends, balance creativity with commercial outcomes, and consistently deliver engaging designs will be key to your success in this role. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Relevant degree or qualification in a related field, e.g., Textile Design, Graphic Design, Fashion Design.
  • Extensive experience in textile design, ideally within activewear, intimates, or lifestyle categories.
  • Proven ability to lead the design process from concept to delivery, balancing creativity with commercial needs.
  • Expertise in identifying and interpreting emerging fashion and lifestyle trends into innovative, brand-right designs.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and MS Excel.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities to guide and inspire junior designers.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
  • Exceptional organisation, planning, and problem-solving skills in a deadline-driven environment.
