Group Accountant

A well-established property group with operations in Singapore, China, and Australia is seeking a versatile, dynamic, and responsible professional to join our team as Accountant (Contract for 6 months), reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Analysis & Reporting

· Perform ad-hoc financial analysis to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.

· Prepare monthly group consolidation and management reporting packages.

Audit & Compliance

· Assist in preparing year-end group audits chedules and consolidation deliverables.

· Manage year-end audits for all entities, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.

· Liaise with internal and external auditors, legal counsel, and tax advisors as needed.

Technical Accounting & Projects

· Support the Financial Controller on technical accounting/tax and corporate governance matters and policy implementation.

· Contribute to cross-functional projects and business initiatives as required.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a recognized Professional Accounting Qualification.

· Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a group or regional role.

· Strong technical knowledge in financial reporting.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with SQL-based accounting systems is preferred.

· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

· Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
