GSA - Food & Beverage

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Guest Service Associate (GSA) - Food & Beverage to join our team in Mercure Hyderabad KCP, India. As a GSA, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests while maintaining the highest standards of service and efficiency.

  • Greet and escort guests to their tables, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately, demonstrating thorough knowledge of menu items and daily specials
  • Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally, adhering to service standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including table settings and side stations
  • Process payments and handle cash and credit transactions efficiently
  • Upsell and promote food and beverage offerings to maximize revenue
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries and concerns, ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food preparation
  • Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP) at all times
  • Assist in opening and closing procedures of the restaurant
  • Support other Food & Beverage outlets during peak times or as required
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and briefings as scheduled
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in hotel operations or food and beverage service
  • Strong service-focused personality with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Thorough knowledge of food and beverage service standards and procedures
  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP)
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
  • Basic math skills for handling financial transactions
  • Ability to memorize menu items and make recommendations to guests
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems
  • Relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism Management (preferred)
  • Additional language skills are a plus
