Maintenance Supervisor/Manager - Ground Service Equipment (GSE) & Facilities
Wisconsin Aviation is seeking a maintenance supervisor / manager to oversee the maintenance, repair, and reliability of our ground service equipment, fleet vehicles, hangars, terminal facilities, fuel farm infrastructure, and related company assets.
In addition to supporting Wisconsin Aviation's operations, this position is responsible for overseeing maintenance and repair services provided to external customers. the successful candidate will coordinate will coordinate customer work, develop relationships with existing and prospective customers, manage vendor resources, and help grow the GSE maintenance department.
This position provides leadership and direction for maintenance activities by establishing priorities, coordinating repairs, managing preventative maintenance programs, and ensuring equipment and facilities remain safe, reliable, and operational. the successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating maintenance needs, determining whether repairs should be performed in-house or by outside vendors, and coordinating those resources to achieve the best outcome for the company.
the ideal candidate is an organized leader with strong mechanical aptitude, sound judgement, customer service skills, and experience managing maintenance activities across a variety of equipment and facility systems. Aviation experience is preferred but not required. Candidates with backgrounds in fleet maintenance, industrial maintenance, construction equipment, public works, facilities management, agriculture, transportation, or related fields are encouraged to apply.
