Guest Room Attendant – Tropicana Laughlin

Must be 18 years of age or older

We’re looking for a hardworking, detail‑oriented Guest Room Attendant to help maintain our high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. This role is essential to creating a memorable stay for every guest who walks through our doors.

  • Clean 18 guest rooms and bathrooms per shift according to property standards
  • Push, pull, and maneuver a 50–70 lb. linen cart throughout the shift
  • Change bed linens, make beds, and supply extra linens upon request
  • Dust and polish furniture, reaching up to 6 feet high
  • Sanitize and scrub bathtubs, sinks, toilets, and floors while bending, kneeling, and stretching
  • Lift and operate a 15–18 lb. vacuum cleaner to clean guest rooms
  • Move in‑room furniture as needed (up to 15 lbs.)
  • Load linen carts by bending, lifting, and reaching up to 6 feet high
  • Replace guest amenities and ensure rooms are fully stocked
  • Walk extensively between work areas, guest rooms, and department stations
  • Knock and announce presence before entering guest rooms
  • Communicate with guests, Housekeeping leadership, and Security as needed
  • Remove room service trays and place them in hallways for pickup
  • Report missing items, damages, pets, or unusual situations to supervisors
  • Follow proper lost‑and‑found procedures
  • Notify supervisors of early checkouts, “refuse service,” or “late service” rooms
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
  • Maintain availability for scheduled shifts
  • Deliver Caesars Entertainment’s Family‑Style Service at all times

What We’re Looking For

  • Three or more months of experience in a hotel or casino environment preferred, but not required
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, and standing for long periods
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to read and write simple lists, memos, and basic business correspondence
  • Familiarity with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
