Guest Service Agent

What you’ll do:

We are looking for a casual Guest Service Agent to join our team at Freycinet Lodge. You will provide an exceptional experience to our guests from reservation and throughout their stay, creating lifetime memories. On a daily basis you will:

  • Complete reception tasks such as taking bookings, preparing invoices, checking guests in and out
  • Answer phone and email enquiries promptly and professionally
  • Communicate with other departments to ensure rooms are ready for guest arrivals or to ensure guest needs are met

What you’ll bring:

  • Strong Guest Service/Front Office experience with sound knowledge of NewBook, RoomMaster, Opera or a similar booking system
  • A reputation for providing excellent customer service, engaging in great conversations with our guests
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • A positive, energetic attitude and the ability to thrive as part of a high-performing team
  • Certificate II in Hospitality (Operations) or equivalent experience
  • Strong problem-solving capability, including confident use of basic mathematical skills in the workplace
  • Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate
  • Possess a Do Food Safely Certificate of completion
