Guest Services Officer (Hospitality / Front Office)
Job Summary:
Guest-focused professional to deliver exceptional front office service, resolve issues, and enhance overall guest satisfaction and experience.
Responsibilities
- Deliver courteous, efficient front office services and fulfill guest requests promptly
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and escalations with tact and timely resolution
- Manage all calls professionally, ensuring prompt response within service standards
- Perform cashiering duties in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Build and maintain strong guest relations with in-house guests
- Take ownership of service issues and prepare incident/glitch reports when required
- Enforce room security, safety, and emergency procedures in compliance with guidelines
- Promote the use of safety deposit (El-Safe) systems following proper protocols
- Provide accurate information on facilities, services, and local attractions
- Maintain effective communication with internal teams for smooth operations
- Uphold high standards of personal grooming and a clean, organized work area
- Carry out additional duties or ad hoc assignments as directed by supervisors
Requirements
- O-Level qualification or equivalent
- Prior experience in customer service or administrative support
- Willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Experience in hospitality is an added advantage
- Knowledge of Hotel Management Systems (HMS) is an added advantage
