Sofitel Bahrain is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Gym Instructor to join our Wellness & Recreation team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fitness, committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences, and dedicated to promoting a safe and welcoming environment in our fitness facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests and provide a professional, friendly, and personalized fitness experience.
  • Conduct gym orientations and demonstrate the safe use of fitness equipment.
  • Design personalized fitness programs based on guests' goals and fitness levels.
  • Monitor guests during workouts to ensure correct exercise techniques and safety.
  • Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the fitness center.
  • Perform routine inspections of gym equipment and report any maintenance issues.
  • Support wellness activities, fitness classes, and hotel events as required.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and emergency procedures.
  • Promote the hotel's wellness facilities and services.
  • Diploma or certification in Fitness, Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.
  • Valid Gym/Fitness Instructor or Personal Trainer certification.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Gym Instructor or Personal Trainer, preferably in a luxury hotel, resort, or fitness club.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive attitude with a strong focus on guest service.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
