The role combines operational leadership with creative vision, ensuring the centre thrives as a vibrant hub for artists, artisanal communities, and audiences.<\/span>

Based in the temple town of Vijayanagar (\u201cvictory\-city\u201d) in the south of India, Hampi Art Labs (HAL) functions as an artist\-first centre bringing together three distinct aspects of art making in the contemporary moment \u2013 facilities for large\-scale production, an environment designed for artists to creatively retreat in, & galleries that present their opportunities for world class display \u2013 all spread across the same multi\-acre space. <\/span>

    Requirements<\/h3>

    Essential Qualifications:<\/span><\/span><\/b>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p>

    • Proven experience in the arts and culture sector, ideally with community or artisanal engagement. <\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills. <\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Ability to balance strategic planning with hands\-on coordination. <\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Passion for fostering creativity, inclusivity, and cultural impact.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>

      Essential Experience:<\/span><\/span><\/b>
      <\/span><\/span><\/p>

      • Degree in Arts Management, Cultural Studies, or related field, or equivalent professional experience. <\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/li>
      • 3\u20135+ years of experience in operations, administration, programme management, or institutional management within the arts, culture, heritage, or creative sectors.<\/span>
