Hardware Repair Technician
You will diagnose, repair, and maintain bitcoin mining machines, performing control board, hash card, and chip-level repairs. You will read schematics and blueprints, assess equipment condition, integrate new systems into facility infrastructure, ensure environmental and safety standards, and perform timely repairs. You may operate a company vehicle and travel between sites and must be insurable under the company's vehicle insurance policy. You should be able to lift 50-75 lbs and communicate clearly about technical issues.
Responsibilities
- Repair bitcoin mining equipment including control boards, hash cards, and chip-level components
- Diagnose hardware faults and perform timely repairs
- Read schematics and blueprints and assess equipment working order
- Support integration of new equipment and systems into facility infrastructure
- Ensure environmental and safety standards are met and identify problems
Requirements
- 2+ years technician experience in an industrial or commercial environment
- Familiarity with Antminer Series 17 and 19 equipment is a plus
- Bitman repair certification is a plus
- Background in electrical troubleshooting is a plus
- Clear and effective communication skills
- Able to lift 50-75 lbs
