Day Treatment Program Director – Cabarrus County (Concord, NC)
Turning Point Family Services is seeking a Program Director for our Cabarrus County Day Treatment program located in Concord, operating inside Cabarrus County schools. We have both Elementary and Middle School Day Treatment programs. We are looking for applicants who enjoy working with children with intense behavioral needs who cannot be in a normal classroom. Candidates should be team-oriented, enjoy challenges, and be committed to making a difference. Monday–Friday (7:30am–3:30pm or 8:30am–4:30pm). CPI certification will be required. Position Summary
Responsible for the overall operations of day treatment programs, facilities, and staff. Responsible for overall program development, direction, and care of the DT program. Ensure staff are provided with up-to-date information/training/resources to assist with their job responsibilities. This position is on site between both Day treatments.
Responsibilities
- Oversee management of both day treatment programs and staff; this includes personnel issues, supervision, and training/support. Directly supervise the DT Site Managers.
- Maintain a consistent and visible presence within the DT sites. Your presence should be focused on supporting staff, strengthening relationships, and understanding the day-to-day needs of each program.
- Work with TPH Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement and Training Directors to ensure all DT staff have proper training in place, and clients receive the highest quality clinical treatment. Provide guidance and support to DT programs regarding various administrative issues, billing, EHR/documentation needs, UM needs, contractual needs, and overall strategic planning.
- Participate in the agency leadership team as the Day Treatment Director and work with the leadership team to support DT and agency goals for quality, compliance, strategic goals, and growth. Collaborate with all internal directors to ensure that the best possible treatment is being delivered. Attend bi-weekly leadership meetings. Maintain strong communication between all Day treatments and TPH Corporate.
- Act as the Cabarrus County school liaison for both Elementary and Middle School Day treatments. Ensure good customer service is given to school officials, families, and community stakeholders.
- Ensure the program meets their daily ratio standards. Manage leave requests for team to ensure proper coverage. Ensure all TPH and regulatory standards are followed regarding (CARF, Cabarrus County Schools P/P, MCO, etc.).
- Review all incident reports and safety logs to ensure compliance with the standards.
